Silver Spot Movie Theater in Naples, Florida

WOW! is about all I can say for this state-of-the-art movie theater. I loved it! Jimmy and I went while we were on location in Naples last week and it was a real treat to go to such a plush theater. You can tell that there was no design budget. They spared no expense at this theater. The seats were all leather and the floors were dark wood. Beautiful and contemporary design throughout. The bathrooms were exquisite with glass stalls and gorgeous tile. I really enjoyed the fabulous selections of unusually adult concessions like Wasabi Peas and alcoholic beverages. They had a restaurant there but you could also bring your own food into the theater. Silver Spot is the coolest theater for a movie experience and not just because it has a cool name ; )

Finally, a really good movie! I have seen a lot of average flicks lately. Jeff Bridges deserves the Oscar nod he got this week! Go see it!

The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus

The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnasssus - Imagine yourself not seeing it. This movie had potentially 2 big things going for it, a unique story and a dreamy, hot cast (Jude Law, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and the late, great Heath Ledger) but it didn't deliver the story very well at all. This movie was as confusing of a mess as many of my dreams at night and those are free! Save your money and take a nap instead!
